Padang (Unand) –Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Andalas rayakan hari jadinya (dies natalis) ke 55 tahun/lustrum XI yang jatuh pada tanggal  7 September setiap tahunya. Puncak acara Dies Natalis Fakultas Farmasi ini diselenggarakan Sidang Terbuka dan Orasi Ilmiah pada Selasa, (17/9) di Convention Hall Universitas Andalas Kampus Limau Manis Padang.

Acara ini diikuti oleh seluruh civitas akademika Fakultas Farmasi muali dar iDekan, Wakil Dekan, Ketua Prodi/Jurusan, dosen, tenaga kependidikan, mahasiswa. Hadir juga Rektor Universitas Andalas dan jajaran pimpinan di lingkungan Unand, alumni Fakultas Farmasi serta undangan lainnya.


“Dalam usia yang sudah 55 tahun , Fakultas Farmasi Unand telah menorehkan banyak prestasi dibidang ilmu-ilmu kefarmasian, baik dalam bidang pendidikan, penelitian maupun pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Fakultas ini juga sudah dikenal baik ditingkat nasional maupun iternasional” ucap ketua pelaksana Lustrum XI Fakultas Farmasi, Dr. Yusri Aldi, M.Si, Apt.


Lebih lanjut ia mengatakan rangkaian kegiatan lustrum Xi Fakultas Farmasi ini telah dimulai sejak bulan April sampai Desember 2019 dengan melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan yang terintegrasi dalam konsepsi Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi antara lain  Seminar Nasional Perkembangan Terkini Sains Farmasi dan Klinis ke 8 Universitas Andaals (4-5 April 2019), Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Berbasis Prodi (April-November 2019), Workshop Alumni (13 September 2019), Seminar Nasional Alumni dengan tema “Menyiapkan Profesi Apoteker Sesuai dengan Tuntunan Zaman” (14 September 2019), Peresmian Palanta Mahasiswa (15 September 2019), Temu Alumni (15 September 2019), Sidang Terbuka dan Oras iIlmiah Lusrum XI (17 September 2019  dan Outbound Fakultas Farmasi (5-6 Desember 2019).


Sementara itu, Dekan Fakultas Farmasi, Prof. Dr. Fatma Sri Wahyuni, S.Si, Apt menyebutkan dalam usia 55 tahun, Farmasi Universitas Andalas telah mencapai berbagai kemajuan yang mengembirakan, meskipun masih terdapat kekurang dan kelemahan yang memerlukan perbaikan dan penyempurnaan. Kita semua menyadari bahwa apa yang telah dicapai selama 55 tahun ini adalah hasil kerja keras dan dedikasi civitas akademika Farmasi Universitas Andalas mulai dari pendahulu sampai pada pengelola saat ini.


Sesuai dengan umurnya, Fakultas Farmasi sedang berada pada fase emas dengan pencapaian yang membanggakan stastus terakreditas A untuk Program Studi Sarjana Farmasi dan Program Apoteker, Akreditasi B untuk program S2, Pendirian Program Studi S3 Farmasi yang sudah terakreditasi oleh LAMPTKes. Perlu usaha yang sungguh-sungguh dan bersama-sama untuk mengisi dan mempertahankan predikat ini di masa datang, terutama dalam mempertahankan peluang memperoleh akreditasi tingkat regional AUN QA (ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance) yang akan untuk di-asses pada Maret tahun 2020 mendatang. Semoga kita bersama dapat mewujudkannya sehingga visi Fakultas Farmasi dapat diraih.


Dekan Fakultas Farmasi juga menyampaikan ucapan terimakasih dan penghargaan yang setinggi-tingginya atas perhatian, kerjasama, dan dedikasi para Guru Besar, Anggota Senat, unsur pimpinan, dosen, tenaga kependidikan, mahasiswa dan segenap alumni serta pihak lainnya yang telah berperan serta aktif dalam pencapaian dan pelaksanaan program fakultas ini.


Sementara itu Rektor Unand, Prof. Dr. Tafdil Husni, SE, MBA menyampaiakan ucapakan selamat lustrum XI atau Dies Natalis ke 55 Fakultas Farmasi. Ia menyebutkan momentum dies juga dimanfaatkan sebagai momen untuk bersyukur atas capaian yang telah diraih dan juga momen renungan untuk mengevaluasi diri dan unit kerja atas apa yang belum tercapai  untuk dicarikan solusi sehingga apa yang direncanakan dapat terealisasi.


Lebih lanjut Rektor menjelaskan perguruan tinggi melalui Kementerian Riset, Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi terus didorong untuk melakukan inovasi melalui hasil-hasil riset dari dosen dan mahasiswa. Kualitas inovasi ini tercermin dari kualitas hasil riset.  Di Universitas Andalas sendiri produk hasil riset belum banyak yang dikomersialisasikan. Tentu kedepannya Unand melalui Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat terus mengandeng industri sehingga produk hasil penelitian dosen dapat dikomersialisasikan dan bermanfaat kami masyarakat luas.


Selain itu, Rektor juga mengajak civitas akademika Fakultas Farmasi untuk terus meningkatkan mutu lulusan sehingga lulusan Farmasi Unand dapat bersaing dengan lulusan perguruan tinggi lain di Indonesia. Harapan terbesar dari itu adalah membuka lapangan pekerjaan.


Rektor juga berpesan, capaian prestasi yang sudah diraih oleh dosen, tenaga kependidikan dan mahasiswa Fakultas Farmasi janganlah membuat kita menjadi cepat puas tetapi jutru terus berbenah diri melakukan inovasi untuk kejayaan bangsa.


Pada kesempatan dies natalis ke 55 ini juga diserahkan penghargaan kepada dosen dan tenaga kependidikan yang memasuki masa purnabakti tahun 2019. Selain itu juga diberikan penghargaan kepada dosen, tenaga kependidikan dan mahasiswa berprestasi tahun 2019 oleh Dekan Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Andalas.

Educational Philosophy

Andalas University seeks to build a good and strong student character to produce graduates with global competitiveness and entrepreneurship spirit. To reach the vision and carry out the mission mentioned above, the study program objectives have been set for each mission as follows:

  • To produce pharmacy graduates with high integrity, virtuous, competent and professional in solving various problems in the field of pharmaceutical science/technology, clinical and community pharmacy and being able to compete in the era of globalization.

Admission criteria

UPSP prospective students must meet several requirements related to the field of study during high school and some physical disability requirements. High school students with the natural science major and Pharmaceutical Vocational High School’s students can register in the Pharmacy undergraduate program. As for physical requirements, a pharmacy student must not be blind, deaf, physically disabled, totally or partially color blind.

The UPSP-UNAND is accredited “A” by LAM PTKes (2017 - 2022) as the decree of LAM-PTKes no 0596/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Sar/IX/2017 dated September 30 2017. Previously this program has been accredited “A” twice by BAN-PT in 2012 and 2007.

Padang (26 - 27 Oktober 2019, Fakultas Farmasi UNAND) Program studi Magister Farmasi mengadakan Workshop Systematic Review and Meta Analysis dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan dalam bidang analisis pengumpulan data dari artikel dan jurnal ilmiah sesuai dengan kebutuhan. acara ini dihadiri oleh dosen fakultas farmasi, mahasiswa magister farmasi, mahasiswa program doktor farmasi Universitas Andalas, serta dosen dari luar fakultas farmasi.

Turut mengundang Didik Setiawan, Ph.D., Apt, Head of Center for Health Economics Studies Muhammadiyah University, Purwokerto sebagai narasumber workshop dengan materi workshop terdiri dari 1. PICO yang efisien (Synonim, Thesaurus, Boolean Logic, Kriteria Inklusi - Eklusi), 2. Trick Serching artikel secara sensitif dan efisien, 3. Optimasi Mandeley dan Exel untuk mengatasi duplikasi, melakukan skrining judul dan abstrak, 4. Data Extraction standar international , 5. Pevaluasi Risiko Bias dari artikel publikasi menurut Cochrane Library, 6. Meta analysis menggunakan RevMan 5.3 untuk Sensitivity Analysis, heterogenity tes pada meta analysis.

workshop dibuka oleh Wakil Dekan II Fakultaas Farmasi UNAND Prof. Dr. Erizal Zaini, Apt, Workshop dilaksanakan selama 2 hari sabtu dan minggu 26-27 Oktober 2019 yang mana masing- masing sesinya di bagi berdasarkan beberapa subjek  praktikal. Pada hari pertama sesi pertama diadakan penegenalan mengenai Evidance Based Medicine dan Systematik review & Meta Analysis, dilanjutkan dengan Pratical step (1) Developing answerable clinical question cara mengidentifikasi PICO, expansi keyword dan cara menggunakan boolean logic, pada practical steps (2) Serach the Database dijelaskan cara finalisasi cara pencarian, cara mengimport hasil ke Mendeley dan membuang hasil pencarian yang sama, dilanjutkan dengan sesi terakhir pada hari pertama yaitu Practical Steps (3) Screen the Evidance mengenai Screening Evidance menggunakan Mendeley dan cara menyimpan hasil menggunakan mendelay dan Microsoft Exel.

Pada hari kedua dilanjutkan dengan Practical Steps (4) extract information disini dijelaskan cara memeahami guidline seperti PRISMA, CHEERS dan lainnya, Practical Step (5) Risk of Bias Assessment dan Practical Steps terakhir yang ke (6) Mengenai Meta Analysis yang dimulai dengan pengenalan secara rinci tentang apa itu meta analysis, cara penggunaan RevMan dari Cochrane Library, cara melakukan test heterogeneity dan analisa sensitiv, serta cara mempresentasikan hasil dari meta analysis.
